Hi; I’m Yeti, and I love to play, play, play! Once I figure out that you like to play, too, we can be best friends! I almost always carry a doggie toy in my mouth, but I’m not interested in human things, not even socks or shoes. I’m small (only 12 lbs.) and soft and fluffy, but I have too much energy to sit around on your lap. I’d rather be playing! My mind is very active, too, and I like a challenge. Sometimes I create puzzles for myself by tossing my toys under your furniture so that I have to work to get them back out. I really need a home with a fenced in yard because 1) I have a lot of energy 2) it takes a couple of minutes to get my harness and leash on because I have a hard time sitting still, and 3) I bark at other dogs, and I’m a little scared of new humans. I’d really prefer to get my daily exercise in your backyard. Just toss a squeaky ball and I will sprint after it! Then, repeat!

I really love my humans, and show them tons of affection now, though I need time to warm up to new people. I’ll probably bark at strangers at first, but once I get to know a human, I’m okay as long as they don’t try to pick me up because that would scare me. For this reason, I would do best in a home without children or with older children that can protect me from situations where I can get startled by people trying to pick me up.

I would prefer to be the only dog in your home because I will bark at other dogs. I can jump right over a baby gate if I want to, so don’t trust one to keep me out of dangerous areas! I’m used to staying in my crate while my humans aren’t home. I’m house trained and I’ll go to the back door to let you know I need to use the bathroom. I don't shed! I’d love to meet you so you can fall in love with me and be my best friend forever! (ML/KC*)
