Hi; my name is Cammie. I am a spayed female border collie and rat terrier mix and I only weigh about 20 lbs. I absolutely love to play! I am obsessed with tennis balls of any kind, you know, there are the low pressure kind, the squeaky kind and the regular kind. I just love them all and like to carry them around with me so that maybe you will throw it sometime. When you walk up to me, I just wiggle all over and there is no straight bone in my back because the wiggling carries all the way up to my head. I am good with dogs my size and bigger but the little ones are a bit too much like small furry animals that I want to chase. I don't necessarily try to hurt them but I play too rough. A fenced in back yard would probably be best since I absolutely need to run a few times a day to release some of my pent up energy. Of course, if you wanted to take me running in the morning and evening or even hiking that would be super. I have a lot of stamina and could just about go go go all day long. I sleep quietly at night and haven't chewed anything up yet (except for pulling the fuzz off of my tennis balls, sorry foster Mom). Cuddle times are becoming more and more fun for me once I realized I could trust my foster parents but I still hold my ball most of the time. Because I like to chase things that move, I probably wouldn't be good with a cat, unless the cat was the kind that stands up to dogs and could give me a bat on the face or too if I got too close; I definitely wouldn't be good with the kind that runs when I walk in the room. Oh and did I say that I liked to play? Well I like to play a lot! Oh and one of my favorite things about my foster mom's back yard is that she has a little kiddie pool full of water that I can run and get in when I get hot. So COOL! I LOVE that pool and I LOVE my balls. A perfect home for me would be one that is willing to get me involved in dog sports such as agility or flyball or some other sort of high energy activity maybe like hiking. I would make a great flyball dog since I am very short and super fast. So what do you think? I know I sound like a bundle of crazy wild energy but it is the best bundle of energy you could ever find and I am looking for someone to help me spend that energy in a productive way so that we can both have the best time of our lives. Any takers? (AM)
