Lulu aka Dolly

She is doing great! She loves walks in the neighborhood and around the lake, but doesn't like to be in the backyard, with or without us. Turns out her skin is allergic to grass! She loves meeting other dogs, but didn't enjoy the dogpark, even though it doesn't have grass. Think we'll wait and try it again. She travels well, so we've been able to avoid boarding her for all but once ot twice We use the vet she went to when she was with you -- and have had very good experiences there. Daisy ( what we call Dolly) is happy to go there the few times it's been and the staff remember her. She had a few accidents onthe floor at first but it's been months since that happened. When we are out she stays in our room. If she needs to pee, she uses the pads in the bathroom, forexample, occasionally she'll use them in the middle of the night. She likes to chew so we try to keep plent of that stuff for her. Even so, once in a while she'll chew tbrough a lamp cord. At first we didn't realize she was eating some of the catfood, so she piton jysta bit too much weight. But with the walks and playing and no.more cat fod, she's come down some. She still isn't a big water drinker but likes her food mixes with plenty of water which she laps up. She's on the trifexis monthly. No flea problem. Oh, she is getting along fine with the cats. the indoor one was curled up with her on the sofa when we andour younger daughter were sitting there watching TV -- so cute! The indoor outdoor cat follows Daisy on neighborhood walks. We've been washing and brushing her but need to get a new brush I think. She's doing better with the baths. She is just about the perfect dog. It's. so wonderful.tohave sucha happy affectionate dog. Thank yousimuch for takinv care of her and letting us adopt her!!!
