Hey, Ohio State Fans!  I'm Buckeye, a Five-year old, 22lb, incredibly handsome, miniature Schnauzer.  I'm a super dog who lost his home due to his owner's illness.  I really miss my human and can't wait to be the apple of someone's eye.  So, let me tell you about me and how I can check all your boxes.  I'm house trained!  Check!  Crate trained!  Check!  Leash trained!  Check! Smart and playful!  Check!  Love to play ball!  Check!  Rides great in a car!  Check! I'm affectionate and eager to please!  Check!  And smart enough to learn anything you want to teach me.  Check!  See, I check all your boxes!!!!   Now, I am a Schnauzer and it would be a good thing to look up the breed and see if I match up with you.  I shed only a little bit, but I must be groomed about every 5-8 weeks.  I have a beautiful double coat that needs to be brushed frequently.  I have a medium energy level with a need to be daily exercised.  I need a fence because I have a high prey drive and just can't resist chasing a squirrel.  I love to interact with my family and I'm okay with other dogs with the proper introduction.  Hey, even if you aren't an Ohio State fan, this Buckeye would love anyone in the Triangle area, even a Michigander!
