RUFF rescued Sunnie from a local animal shelter.  After being spayed and getting ready to be placed for adoption, her foster mom noticed she had a ballerina type run where she would cross her back legs when she ran.  Sunnie had x-rays and it was discovered that her leg was broken! The ball of the femur is floating loose and not attached.  The vet feels that this break occurred shortly after birth. Sunnie will be having surgery to remove the floating piece of bone and try to stabilize her leg.  Please consider making a donation to help with this unexpected vet cost.
