Hey there! I'm Tara. My foster mom likes to call me little cricket because I love chasing crickets around at night. I can catch a June bug right out of the air. I love being outside. If I was allowed, I'd spend all day basking in the sun, playing in water and chewing on sticks. I am miss independent. While I love to play with my big 70 pound foster brother, I don't mind hanging out by myself. I'll snuggle with foster mom when she asks, but I love to curl up in my crate for naps. My crate with a cozy bed and all of my toys is my safe space. I sleep through the night in my crate and am pretty much potty trained. My foster mom says I'm smart because I'm already learning to sit and lay down. I love treats and will do anything for them! I am a little timid when I first meet new people, but I warm up fast. My human foster brother who is just a toddler is my friend. I kiss him and chase him around. Give me some treats and get down on my level and I'll be your bff in no time! Sometimes I get scared and I need a loving friend to help me feel confident in new situations. My foster mom and dog brother help show me the way.
