Monroe was found just wandering along the road outside his current foster mom’s house. He was nothing but skin and bones. He was so emaciated that his hip bones were showing. That was then, but today Monroe is a spoiled, chubby hound dog. He has the cutest face and his eyes just beckon, “Come on and play with me”! Monroe spends his days hanging out with two female lab mixes. He loves to run, run, and run but is very obedient and comes when called. At night, his favorite thing to do is to lay on the couch and snuggle. Monroe obviously was not a very good hunter but he sure is a wonderful couch companion.  He is crate trained, house broken and gets along with dogs and cats. (JHW)
