Meet Staley. Staley came to RUFF due to an urgent plea from volunteers at the Animal Shelter. He was a starved scared little boy that needed help immediately. When the RUFF volunteer arrived to pick Staley up, Staley walked right over to the volunteer and let her pick him up. He was very happy to leave that loud, scary place. He was given fresh water, and a few treats. He was so happy that his tail began to wag, and he even gave our volunteer a few little kisses. Even though this little boy had been through so much, he still had so much love and appreciation to give. Staley is a sweet, loving Yellow Lab/Hound mix. He is now happy and healthy living with his foster family. He has gained lots of weight, and has really learned how to be a dog! Staley is crate trained and housebroken. He is also great with kids, and doesn't even mind the kitties! (MI/CM)
